Engine block paint wrong color

Bought some bright red vht engine paint. Got my short block all prepped, took me 2 days of sanding and degreasing, put 2 coats of engine primer on then I was ready for my bright red. I started paint the block with the so called red and didnt really notice the Color because I was focused on coverage. Once the first coat was on i noticed it looked a bit orange. When I stop back I noticed it was chevy orange. Wtf. So I sent vht a message to see what they have to say but now what do I do. How do I get this paint back off? I don't want to have to disassemble the engine to have hot tanked and I really dont want to spend hours stripping. Do I just pick a new color and go over the orange with it?

I’d try to go right over it. What’s the worst that happened? You have to start all over if it looks like crap? I painted a SBC black over a crappy orange paint job before and that help up good for a long time.
