need help on buying lightning

what does everyone think of this lightning.

http://nloc.net/forum/showthread.php?threadid=96802

is it priced right. also will this have decent street manners since i will be driving it often. i know the gear are little over kill. so if i do buy it i will put in either 3.55's or 3.73. any other comments will helpout alot. i am pretty new to these lightnings so i would like as much information as possible when going into this deal. if anyone knows where i can get a lightning cheaper than this please let me know. it doesn't have to have modifications a stock one will do just fine. thanks for the help

well that one is priced pretty good i guess for the mods, it would be hard to duplicate it at that price.

if you get that one id keep the 4.10s with that cam and stall and those wheels/tires any less gear would make it really sluggish to drive IMHO. besides the 4.10s are the factory stock gear for the lightnings, in a word no they arent overkill

now i should tell you my 94 is for sale and its more close to stock. asking 5500 for it and looking to sell pretty badly now to get something else. the sale ad is on this forum...

Talking Go for it

Sounds pretty reasonable to me also. I have a white 94 Lightning and those mods are expensive, especially on a lightning. The prices for mods on a lightning are not the same as our beloved mustangs. Expect to pay quite a bit more than a mustang as there are not too many gen ones around to bring down the cost of speed. Dean
