do they make a aftermarket distrbutor for lightnings

I was just wondering because I put a 351w in my mustang and I was wondering if there was a msd distributor that fit the wiring harness?

thanks,
nathan

Well MSD makes two different 351W distributors. One will fit a mustang style ignition with the TFI module in the distributor and the trucks run the TFI module on the inner driver side fender. Accel also makes one that will work with a 351 using mustang style input. The accel is about $20 cheaper but they both are billet pieces. Just call Summit and they will get you squared away

You should be able to order any dist for a 94-96 truck w/ 5.8. The only thing that makes a L dist specific is the cam gear was for a flat tappet cam. If you want a roller dist gear on the dist, get one for a 96 (F 250) w/ 5.8.

Good Luck,
David
