Lightning 42lbs/MAF

The lightnings come stock with a 90mm MAF calibrated for 42lbs injectors, right?

If I buy 9593-F302 42lbs injectors and the 90mm MAF I could put them onto my stang w/o needing to get the MAF re-calibrated, right?

A custom tune will be absolutely necessary after making this mod though? Would the car even run?

Also, would 90mm TB be too big?

the 99+ lightnings came with the 42lb injectors 93-95 had 19 lb injectors with speed density

the 42/90mm mafs combo will work but you will likely need a custom chip or programmer to get it working right

without a custom tune to fix the injector offset vs batt voltage and/or tuning the maf curve and slopes to compensate, the car will run so rich that it probably won't run much at all (been there, done that, fixed with a tweecer)

The car won't run at all without some kind of tune for the meter. They use a different style plug also. Lightning meters don't need to be calibrated for any particular injector size, all you have to do is put the size you are using in. And if you get a mailorder chip they won't mess with the maf curve, they will just put the lightning curve in with the size injectors that you want to run. Most tuners just use a standard maf curve, injector slopes( for whatever size you have ) and injector offset vs battery volt. They don't get as particular about the tune as tweecer guys do.

Would the TB be too big for what combo?

1994, 347, 78mm, alot, NO-you can't!
