Mass Air Q?

Right now im using the FMS mass air conversion kit that uses a 30# injector with a 19# mass air meter. My new combo will probably need 42# injectors possibly 50#'s. Which mass air meter do i need since the ECU obviously runs a cross calibration? Also the harness plug for my mass air sensor doesnt fit the standard "pro-m" style meter. I think it is for like a 96-97 Mustang im not sure. How do you change it over to the "pro-m" or 89-93 style plug?

I think you should just sell the whole thing and because I'm such a nice guy I would be willing to send you a few bucks.

Seriously, you should beable to go to the junkyard and cut off the 89 through 93 harness and splice it in place of your current one. You then would use the wireing charts from both and make sure they are in the right order.

If you're going with a different set of injectors and air meter, you'll need to get a chip with a new transfer function for your truck to run well. I went with a Pro-M Univer and 42's on mine (with a mustang plug) and it runs great!

Blurry94, have you dynoed your truck or ran the 1/4 with the supercharger? Im looking at getting a L with a S-trim and was just curious as to how much power they make.

Several months ago, mine ran an 8.27 @ 88.7mph in the 1/8th with a base (very conservative) tune. This was with no weight reduction, pump gas, and stock converter.

Honestly, the associated parts will determine how much power you will make. Things like an intercooler, headers/exhaust, fuel system, and your tune. Mid to low 13's is normal for these bricks with a Vortech, but some have gone high/mid 11's with boost and/or spray and bolt-ons.
