eyes burning

Hello all,
I need your input on something. I drive my truck with the windows down,AC off, and vent widows open. My exhaust exits BEHIND the rear tires. It seems when I stop at a light some exhaust fumes are detectable. When I get home from my 30 minute in town drive from work my eyes are burning and sometimes I am light headed. Turning on the ceiling fan and opening a window clears it up within 30 minutes. I am pretty sure the exhaust is not leaking under the bed. The exhaust is assembled with those nice band-clamps and welded at other points. I am running an A9L but I have 36 lb injectors and no custom chip. Plugs look good,no smoke from exhaust, truck runs fine. I do have an adjustable fuel pressure reg but adjusting it seems to make little affect on the fumes. So thats it. All suggestions or ideas welcome.
Thanks,Edward

I assume this is on your '95 L.
What injectors are stock in a '95 L? Is a '95 L mass air? and if so, have you upgraded the mass air meter for the 36lb injectors?

Also check for a bad ground between the engine and the frame. There should also be a ground strap from the EFI harness that attaches to the firewall. That needs to be inplace.

The Fauxstang. Dynacorn 67 fastback. Dart SHP 363, Close ratio Magnum 6 speed, 3.70 Eaton Truetrac in a fabricated full floater 9", SorT coil over suspension. Still in pieces.

I thought the 351W Lightnings use 24 lb. injectors stock.
