Setting timing on 1995 Lightning

I am helping a friend do a tune up on his 95 lightning.. went to set the timing and was a little confused. The mustang 5.0 has a spout that you have to remove before you adjust the timing.. I couldn't find anything like it on the truck...what gives.. What do I need to know/do to correctly set the timing? Thanks in advance for your responses!
