Differences in 93-94 L's

I'm looking to buy a 1st gen Lightning. I found what seems to be a pretty good deal on a PD'd 93L, but my buddy told me that he had heard the 93's aren't as desirable as 94-95's. Are there any major differences between the years? Also, what other problems should I look for when checking out a used 1st gen?

The 93s have single stage paint vs the 94 and 95 with base clear, which leads to fading and a chalky looking paint.
The interior is a darker gray than the 94s and 95s.
Some 93s do not have the roller ready block, some do.
The trannys are a bit weaker than the others.
The only colors were black and red. 94 was the first of the white.
And there was no center seat option in 93.

The 94's got a slightly upgraded trans. and the 95 have a fully upgraded trans. The airbag first appeared in 94. I don't believe key-less entry was available in 93. The paint, trans. and center seat are the biggest differences between a 93 and 95. 94 was kind of a transition year. - Brian

my old L had a single stage paint job. (black) looked grey when not polished every other week. The block was roller ready
