How much NOS is too much on a stock L ??

Ok guys, as you read above, How much is too much ?? My friend has a kit he is willing to sell me for an OUTRAGEOUS price and it has only had 2 shots run through it !! He wants to get rid of it and go with more cubic inches. Anyways, it is adjustable up to 175hp. I think I can get away with a 100 shot easily, someone let me know if not. I am just worried about the stock hyperpathetic, err, I mean hypereutectic pistons going BOOM. Thanks in advance !!

I plan on running a 100 shot on the street and 125 at the track. But from what I hear 150 is as high as you would want to go without work.

Hope that helps.

Don't detonate and you will be fine. Just throw the big jets in! Make sure you keep the timing low, and have fun.

yeah if you can keep it from detonating you wont have any problems. i wouldnt be scared to run a 175 shot at all. at 250 or so id start wondering about the stock rods but as long as you keep it from detonating the pistons should be fine

at any rate head gaskets will probably let loose before you trash a piston
