Talking Dumb lightning questions...

Guys, tried a search and didn't get exactly what I was looking for.

First of all are the 93'-95' Lightning engines supercharged like the new 5.4s?

Secondly, will the lightnings fit in a fox? I wasn't sure if a lightning 351 was taller than a regular one.

Thanks!

Brian

The 93's to 95's were all 351s. No blower.

Same block size block, 1 1/2 taller than a 302.

Steeda,

Thanks, for the reply. So, maybe it was the Saleens that had the factory blown 351? Any idea which blower/type it was? I know the new 5.4s have an eaton roots style.

Already have a 2" cowl hood. Think that would be enough?

Thanks, again.

Later.

Brian

I know the newer Saleens had a blown 351 in their S351 line of cars. They used a Vortech before swtiching to their own roots type blower.

You will be fine with the cowl. Shouldn't have any problems dropping a 351 down in a fox. Just have to get all the other parts to get it to fit right.

Good luck Brain,
Chris
