Exclamation Missing Problem HELP!!!!!!!

I have a problem that I cannot solve. I have taken the truck to FORD and they cannot solve it either. The truck under normal driving misses and surges very bad. I have done the following: Plugs, plug wire, dist cap & rotor, complete induction clean (FORD Service), checked timing, FORD diagnostics. None of the previous attempts have fixed the problem. Could this be a throttle position sensor as it does seem to happen around the same RPM range?? Could an alternator cause this?? I have disconnected the EGR valve and the problem did not go away. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

My truck does the same thing. You mainly feel it at cruising speeds. Sometimes when I take off from a stop it is very, very underpowered, and then feels like I took the emergency brake off. I have done all of the same things that you have, but with no luck. I too have had my scan tool on it, and can not find anything.

Anybody?

Have you replaced the fuel filter yet? Mine was doing something similar and I ended up having to get a new battery. Now the surging is gone. It would only do it from a stop or low RPM acceleration. Probably mostly from my pulleys.
