Need help identifying Trans!!

Hey guys,
I have a 94' F-150 XLT xtended cab with a 351w and automatic transmission. Can anyone tell me what trans. came in this model? Is it a E4OD or an AODE? How can I tell the diff? Also, what shift kits do you recommend?? I have looked at both the B&M and Trans GO shift kits. Any others?
Thanks,
Ike

I don't know what transmission you have. I just put a level-ten shift kit in my 94 Lightning which has the E40D. - Brian

the aod, aode oil pan is pretty much flat on the lowest portion, meaning kind of like a cake pan, but the e4od is a monster, the pan is not flat on the bottom, and is just plain huge.
