more new track times! KILL ME KILLL MY TRUCK!

lol

[email protected] a new ACT and ECT, reset CPU in staging lanes...

Pulled what I discovered to be a hypertech chip and ran a [email protected]

so it has new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, ACT, ECT, chip uninstalled, and checked the tps (.91)...I need to check the FP under load but its fine at idle.

DIE DIE DIE!

still stops making power at WOT at 4k or so
just stops pulling..
part throttle pulls hard

Ohh, it is throwing some KOER codes...

one for the TOT sensor voltage to high (code 53 i think) Is that the same as the T/R sensor?

One for the EGR, but it apears to be functioning...holds vacuum, and doesnt throw a check engine light.

and one for TPS voltage to high...but its [email protected] throttle, what should it be at WOT?

Wide open throttle should be around 5 for the TPS. Anything in that range will be fine + / - a few tenths.

What about valve springs? Could they be worn and not doing their job correctly? Since it's higher up in the RPMs when it looses power, might be somethign to check.

What about the TFI module, I know in the mustang they just usually go but might be something else to check.

Here is a good post to read thro if you haven't found it already.

no, the damn back clip was JAMMED, I could NOT get it off, I dunno what to do, I broke 2 plastic remover tools, and couldnt get as metal one to get it off, I'm about to cut the lines and use hose clamps.

The fuel pressure looks fine @ idle and when I rev it ...I dunno think it could be the filter?

The truck feels 100x's better without the hypertech, but WOT still sucks ass

yeah i dont know, that seems to be what everyone always says to change. ive never changed mine though but it runs ok

i need to look and see if my truck has a chip in it. for some reason it pings with 89 octane and the timing at 10° would be nice to be able to turn it up to 14-15°

anyways not sure on the fuel filter, like i said ive never taken mine off so i dont know any tricks.

Code 53 is TP circuit above maximum voltage. Your TPS may be bad, check that and see what you get. Make sure you use the ground wire going to the TPS so you can get an accurate reading. If it is throwing that code, it's more than likely gone bad.
