351w stock hp

I may be buying a 95 lightning engine complete, and was wonder if anyone know the advertised and actual horsepower for the 351w.

Is that actual at the flywheel, or advertised at the flywheel? Also, what kind of improvement would it be if I dropped it in my 89lx notch?

Horsepower (SAE Net) 240 HP @ 4200 RPM
Torque 340 lbs./ft. @ 3200 RPM
Advertised.

They're maybe a tad underrated. Some stock Lightning dynoing around 215-220HP. But it's the torque that the highlight Putting just this engine into a stock notch will probably net you 14.5 times, at the slowest. Our 4500# trucks run low 15s stock. A notch alone is over #1000 lighter. There's a full second

Thanks Brian Baskin. I figured what better place to get an accurate responce would be directly from the source. If a stock lightning dyno's 215-220 with an aod, it should dyno a little more with a manual trans, 24lb injectors, and maf right?
