is there just one "Lightning 90mm MAF" sensor?

I tried to search for MAF, *MAF*, etc., but got no results.

Are all Ford 90mm (plastic) MAF sensors the same... as in, from a Lightning?

Did they use 36# injectors in conjunction with these MAF sensors?

2nd Gen. Lightnings used 42's with the meter, but the calibration was in the EEC.

Different? Dunno, run different model years on a lookup on an online Ford Parts site and see what you come up with.

You know about nloc.net Lightning website, right?

that's a good price on new ones!......

thanks for the nloc site info.

As I eventually posted in the 5.0 forum, my son sent his "regular" 5.0 MAF sensor in for recal for use with his 36# injectors, but when it came back it got stolen right off his front porch. That's why I was hoping the 90mm Lightning MAF that I happened to have might work with his 36# injectors, but I've since learned it's not that simple. He's biting the bullet and buying another MAF cal'd for his injectors.

By the way.... did you know a witness to a theft can demand money to tell who stole an item, but if you refuse to be extorted, the police can't or won't do a damn thing?

A few different sensors. They use different calibrations.

Just a Vert...

Be careful about what you get. The '99-'00 L's had an 80mm MAF. They didn't jump up to the 90mm until '01. Jim, you can also check out over at lightningrodder.com.
