EEC question

Sorry to post in the Lightning forum, but I'm getting no responces in EEC tech. My 88 Bronco has a 5.0 non-H.O. engine. It's a roller cam motor but has standard firing order. I want to swap in the factory motor from my 90 GT. Can I use the EEC from a speed-density 351W Bronco so I don't have to swap cams?

Yes and no the computer thinks it's running a 351 unless you have a tuner and it's only running a 302. So the computer will not see the correct load. I would just swap the cams out.

You don't need to change the computer to use the HO, just drop the motor in there plug it in and wire the plugs 13726548. The truck SD system is batch fired and doesn't care about the firing order, both the 5.0 and 5.8 SD trucks have the injectors wired exactly the same from the factory.
