Lets see pictures of 18" wheels on a FOX 18x10

OK I have done alot of searches and found a few pics and now cant find them again. I have a 88 vert it has the original C58 chrome cobra r's on it. 17x9. I want to go to 18" and would love 18x10 in the back. Please someone help me out with what I need for the right backspacing and such, 285,295,305 tire? I am thinking about the 18" saleen wheels. let's see some pics and some advice thank you.

not saleens but here is my car with 18x10 running 275/35/18 tires, I definitely have more room for a bigger tire 285 or maybe a 295, all i did was remove the quad shocks, I am running Fox length Ranger axles that's it.

the wheels are,

18x10
22MM offset
6.38 Backspacing

The first thing we need to know is the axle/brake setup and your intentions going forward. If you converted to 5 lug using Ranger or Fox length axles, and plan on keeping these axles, then you will want a 10" rear rim with somewhere near 22mm offset, (most aftermarket wheel manufacturers offer 22mm). This seems to fit the Fox rear pretty well. For tire size, most guys seem to think a 285 is as big as they can go. But there may be room for more. Are you willing to mod the inner wheel house? Can you put up with occasional rubbing? A panhard may help, as this can center your axle housing so you have equal room on both sides.

Just a few things to think about.

18x10s, +22mm offset. stock length axles with cobra brakes and NRC brackets. beat inners, cut the outer lips out. eibach springs, tokico adjustables.

just some side pics.i used a 94 gt rearend and im not sure of teh offset of teh wheels.they came off my friends supra.i rolled teh fenders adn thats it.didnt run tail pipes since i had a single 3 1/2 down pipe.

original 44k mile 302 block girdled 185 trick flow heads, track heat r upper lower, steeda 18 cam, BBK long tubes, vortech sv1 8 lbs pulley. She makes 477whp 419 lbs tq on the dyno with 6lbs of boost.

This is a pic of my GT with deep dish bullits. 18X9's up front and 18X10's out back. Here it has 285 out back, now it has 305's on it now. i like it much better with the 305's

Hey 5-OH what kind of hood are using? Car looks sharp with either set of wheels but I like the BBS wheels better.

Beautiful cars guys, this def the look I want. I like my c58 cobra r's but they have been on the car since 1998. She needs an upgrade. And yes it is 5 lug with soon rear cobra brake setup. They are also fox lenth moser axles. I am also changing the hood and taking the saleen wing that has been on there since 96. Lets keep more comming

6.4" is the ideal backspacing for a 10" wheel on a fox with stock length axles.

IMO, it would look even better if you lowered the back end a little to match the front. But that's just me
