well i traded my supercharger for a turbo kit and bolted everything on and the turbo was not boosting checked the wastegate and bov looks good checked cold side piping no leaks can hear the turbo spooling but no boost and car runs really rough so i bought a brand new turbo from turbonetics the gtk-850 and still no boost i know i got a leak on my cross pipe but will that not let it boost sorry new to turbo or wat else will not let it boost

Sounds like a coldside leak somewhere between the turbo and manifold, they can be tricky. I had a leak one time, made zero boost, could hear th turbo spool and no exhaust leaks. I checked all clamps and couplers and everything looked good and was tight. I was loosing my mind trying to find it lol. Eventually I just took all the piping off and reinstalled and clamped everything, and bam, Full boost again and never had an issue after.

i did that twice u think my exuast leak from my cross tube would not let it boost plus i replace my wastegate yeah its a cheap one but it should still make boost the only other thing i can think of is that is in the wrong place cuase most kits have it on the cross pipe and mine is on the passenger header right were the turbo bolts on

What size spring in your wastegate are you running? I have a 7pound spring in mine and when I drove it around it barley made any boost had to put a manual controller. Also is the bov setup right it? Could be opening and letting pressure out

Might be a dumb question but are driving it and getting no boost or just reving the motor in park?

If a wategate wasn't working properly, it would stay shut, which means lots of boost. Form my experience even a larger exhuast leak which will be very noticebale ie loud and show black soot coming out from the leak area would not cause a no boost scenario, just lower the peak boost some and prolong spool.

A big exhaust leak is basically the same thing as a wastegate staying open, so yeah a big exhaust leak will cause no boost. You need ZERO exhaust leaks between the motor and turbo.

Well picked it from the exuast shop and nowi got about 5 _7 pounds but only boost in 3rd gear and upp its suppouse to be at 14 psi checked all cold side piping and doesnt look like its leaking wat else would cause it to sputter and not boost all the way

What are your plugs gapped at, and did you retune it after you swapped mass air meters? If you didn't, you've found your problem.

Tune could possibly be the culprit... Me being an idiot when I installed my kit the first time forgot to put the fire ring into the wastegate causing it to be wide open. Lol easy fix though.

Pull the chip, set base timing to 4 degrees, and take it around the block, watch your a/f meter. If the maf was changed, tune is not anywhere close, guaranteed.

Are you referring to the valve seat? I have a buddy that had a turbo silverado doing this exact same thing, and we ended up finding the valve seat was missing out of his wastegate.(thats what you get buying used stuff)
You could see all the way around the valve when it was supposed to be closed, so it was letting all the exhaust pressure out and wouldnt spool untill high gear.

Sounds like you need to go back and start over. Pull the plugs, do a compression test, check your timing to make sure it's reading at TDC on the balancer, etc. Make sure your fuel pressure is doing what it's supposed to, check TPS, check your grounds, scan for codes, etc.

How do you have your wastegate routed? I would remove the wastegate check the diaphragm. Do you have your vaccum routed to your intake or compressor wheel? Also that vacuum line goes to the bottom nipple if you have two on the w/g. Worth a shot man. Did you clock the Turbo while installing it?
