Question How much $ are you into your NOVI 1000 w/upgrades?

How much are you guys into your Novi 1000's after changing pulleys, discharge pipe, adding a bypass valve, etc.??

I like the price of the 1000 but it seems like by the time you "add" on things you will only be $500-$600 short of the NOVI 2000.

The NOVI 2000 would probably be a bit of an overkill on my current combination, but if I ever build the 351w block sitting in my shop it seems like it would be the more appropriate addition then the 1000.

Buy the base novi 1000 kit for $1800. Morphius power pipe for $140. By-pass valve for $28. F150 pulley for $40. Then you'll have 9-10 lbs of boost and plenty of power way cheaper than a novi 2000.BTW you'll need the power pipe & pulley up-grade on any charger you decide to get......

That would be just a hair over $2000, a $500 difference. Is the NOVI 1000 going to be capable of building much boost on a 351?

Isn't the 2000 going to be at 8-10 out of the box with no pulley changes where the 1000 is going to require the additional parphernalia to get it to that point???

i bought my 1000 for 1649+shipping....it is hard to beat for the money....vortech makes a 8" crank pulley that really sends the lil novi into orbit! there are guys making 15lbs on the 1000. I'm getting ready to put one on. What do you think of your tweecer? If you can afford the 2000 you'd be silly to get the 1000. The 2000 is the big king daddy street blower in my mind. Go to novipower.com cause i don't think the 5.0 blower kit bolts right up to a windsor.

The Tweecer is a nice tool. My idle was pretty lousy with hot start issues, etc. It idles great now with almost non-existant hot start issues. It is going to be great to have once I decide what blower to get!

I know the blower doesn't bolt right up. It looks like alternative auto sells/ modifies brackets to get it to fit on the windsor block.
