So I thought it was about time to start my own thread on this and stop posting onto other peoples threads. So I started this project about 6 months ago with the Thunderbird M90 supercharger and then decided to upgrade to the M112. funny you mention those cores as i was going to use them on my a2w setup for my kb. but after shawn(92rohcp) reworked mike's a2a setup i went this route too. those cores are pretty nice though.

Its weird that ya'll are talking about the laminova coolers, I just learned of these things a few weeks ago and have been trying to get my hands on some of them to see if I could work on integrating them into my setup and maybe the KB too.

Nice fab work, how does that s/c compare to a paxton/vortech set-up. I would imagine it doesn't need high rpm to make boost. How much boost are you making? What will you do for a hood/scoop set-up, hieght seems to be an issue.

I'm not sure how if compares to the Paxton/Vortechs because I have never worked with them. But it makes about 14PSI on a 2" pulley and the stock crank pulley. Hight isn't too big of an issue, it fits under a 2.5" cowler hood with just a slight bit of modification. (see picture below)

Have you ran the A/C on that setup yet? Doesn't look like there's much belt wrap on the compressor pulley...lol
Yeah, it works fine cruising and at idle, just slips a little when you get on it.

what shaft did you use on the snout? i see its longer.
I made about a 5" long shaft that presses onto the stock shaft where the pulley would normally go.

So I'm starting to break down my motor finally, and here is a pic of one of the head gaskets, this is the passenger side. It was the worst but the driver's side was blown too, 7 of 8 cyl were compromised.

Nothing to be modified, just some different routing of the vacuum line to be ok for boost. The m90 was maxing out between 6-8PSI. I sell the M112 in several ways. Follow this thread to find out more:
I only sell the M90 kit without the supercharger, its $550 for the adapter.

Do you have any good pictures of the belt routing? I am trying to see if I can make this work on my car. I am not running power steering or A/C on mine.
This might not be the right place but you mention in your for sale thread that you could sell a kit with the front bearing support and idler. Could you PM me a price with those pieces added in? I think I will need an idler or maybe two to do this without A/C and power steering.

My main concern about fitment is with the extended snout. Will that hood mod have to be made with any hood? I was planning on buying the 3.5" cobra r hood from ho fibertrends after the first of the year.

I wouldn't think so, that hood mod was on a 2" cowl hood and it only stuck out by a 1/4" so I would think a 3"+ hood would be ok.
