Tork Tech Inc. supercharger 4.6 sohc

Is anyone familiar with this company and their product. It appears to be a decent deal as you can pick and choose the items you need. torktech(DOT)com

looks like they shoehorned a 03/04 eaton setup onto an intake manifold for a 2v...

Interesting...

Tork Tech designed a manifold for the 2V application. The supercharger is a Magnuson Generation 5 with the new 3 lobe rotors and 60 degrees of twist. The 2003 5 speed running around town, is currently making 403 rwhp and 400 ft/lbs. When the unit was tested, and the boost was turned up on a stock 4.6L, it popped the rods at 437 rwhp at 13 pounds of boost.

I sent them an e-mail asking if they have considered making a kit for the 96-98 4V's and they told me they had and as soon as they get done with the 2V kit that quite possibly might be their next kit... YAY!

I just wanted to post an update on the TTI S/C and power levels. The standard kit has a 3.25 upper and makes 403 rwhp. When they swapped in a 3.1 it went to 425. Ad race gas and a more aggressive tune and it goes to 440. Swap in a 2.8 and it hit 465. Problem they saw was valve float at 4800. New springs are going in next week. Stock heads and stock exhaust except for a cat back on a 2003. Good rods and pistons, stock compression ratio.

I am also very interested. I think that it would make a great SC kit.

The real question is, will they make an intercooled kit for the B-heads.

I have one on my 2000 GT and it works great. It made 385 rwhp with an automatic. You can't hear it or even tell it is on the car until you hit it. I like the fact that you can be sneaky and surprise people.

Mustang Magic in NY just swapped an M90 blower out of a 99 Saleen and installed the standard Tork Tech kit. On pump gas, and at 12 pounds of boost the car made 495 rwhp and 488 rwt. The AIT never went over 145 after a ton of back to back pulls on the dyno. AFR was 11.3/1 Outside air temp was 93 degrees and 27% humidity. The pulley combination was a 7 inch lower and a 2.8 upper. Next Saturday they are installing a 9 inch lower which was shipped with the kit. Any guesses on power?

Good parts in the engine of course. forged rods, pistons etc.

OK. Here is a dyno sheet showing a bone stock 99 GT with baseline to compare before and after the Tork Tech install. Peak boost was 9.3 pounds.

Thumbs up re

I've known Bill Evanoff and Charles Warner for a long time Charles is a very smart man and did alot of work with the Lightnings and Supercoupes. I can tell you everything I seen made by these guys was top notch.

Kudos for Tork Tech

they make some interesting products including a intercooled 2v manifold for centri blowers. the only thing that bothers me is when i actually called them with some quetions about it the guy on the phone was really trying to bs me. He was trying to stear me tward there termi blower kit for 2vs claiming my vortech was dangerouse because my boost wont com on gradually and will come on in 2psi increments very suddenly as i go up every few hundred rpms braking the tires loose every time. total BS. unless i can actually talk to someone who nows wtf they are talking about from that company i wont be buying a thing from them. just my 2 cents.
