Yes Another exhaust Question 2007GT

Which Axel Back system sounds the best with stock cats and FRPP X pipe, and has no drone ?

Flowmaster American Thunder axleback if you want a chambered exhaust that doesn't drone.

Got that one now and it does drone, also does not sound quite right with the FRPP X pipe.

Why not go further with FRPP and get the GTA mufflers? They fit cleanly under the stock GT bumper and sound fantastic with the stock h-pipe. With the FRPP x-pipe and the mufflers, it'll sound like a Shelby GT.

ya i love my magnapacks too, When I do J.B.A. longtubes, should i go H or X pipe. I had a Bassani X-pipe with hi flo cats on my 99 GT with side exit and it sounded like a effing Nascar ride almost. Does anybody have Long tubes Magnapack cat back and a hi flo h or x pipe?? Or is there soundclips anywhere with that combo??

full-bolts ons, Z06(LS6) intake manifold, 3" True duals, Thunder racing 224 cam, 100 shot.

I know it looks like he had a lot of mph on me, but he actually never caught me... he had to shift to 5th right as he changed lanes. He is a stock 3.42 gear car, so 5th is about 145mph for him.

I was a few cars faster than him when he was on motor, on spray he was about 1-2 cars quicker.

not a great video, but you can kinda see what happens between us. The 350Z isnt quick enough to keep up.

i got my Vortech for 3100... it was a tuner kit.
If you can install it yourself like i did its really not THAT bad. I've installed a few S197's now and its really not too bad.

$3,100 isnt bad at all..####, ive spent close to $2,000 on my suspension, with the discount..My local speed shop( bunch of subaru road race cars), is hot on the Kenny Bell, thats what he wants me to get.. I really want to try to get 400 to the wheels on motor..How much do you think heads and cams are going to be??? There are a lot of fast vettes in connecticut..I dont want to get embarrased..

youre not gonna get 400rw on motor...

not stock cube atleast... search around. After about 350rw it gets tough. And EXPENSIVE

FI is the way to go... Im sure the KB's make good power, but i like the way my Vortech pulled through the revs.
I made that 440 with the Vortech and CMRC deletes... thats it. Still had stock exhaust.
And i only ran 7psi. Stock fuel pump too. Was running 14 degress of timing. Air/fuel was 11.7:1 until about 6200... after that it crept to 12.1:1 at 6800 because stock fuel pump was about done.

I later added the Anderson Power Pipe and cut the cats out... but never redynoed.

440 is really good considering just the tune and plates..i guess i need to get beat a few times to push me over the edge..The vortech is thousands less than the KB, I think I known which one i would do..watchin ur videos is makin me itchy for one... Ur 98 must be an effing beast..What would happen to that white T/A if you were drivin that one??
