I don't know man, I have allways had manual, and now that I have a manual VB automatic, I won't have another manual. Its just as much fun, faster, and more consistent. Its not like you stick it in drive and go. and its in a 100% street car. I've had the coupe at the track a few times, but its home in on the streets around Ocala. You need to find someone with a 4R70 with a manual valve body, and drive it. between locking the trans up, in and out of O.D., and shifting gears, I stay plenty busy.

Not a mustang, but here is a Viper that runs 8s with the T-56. Doesn't say what clutch he is using.
http://videos.streetfire.net/video/3...3935d55d77.htm I think the biggest problem is building boost off the line. Definitely need a 2-step which should help some but it still wouldn't be like an auto with a transbrake to load it up.
