Anyone have video of a 5.0 hellion turbo car?

I'm trying to find out what a stock motor or close to it 5.0 sounds like with a hellion kit. I have not been able to find any vids of them. I've came across a few threads that had some at one time but the links are dead.

I know turbo's quiet down the exhaust a lot but would like to hear what they sound like before deciding which route I will go.

Thanks

I don't have any audio but I can tell you it is quiet. It does not have that traditional 5.0 sound you would normally hear from a stock engine with flowmasters.

the helliion kit tones the sound down a little bit. (still sounds stock)

i have magnaflow muffers on my 89 coupe (the kit for an automatic trans had a open waste gate.) sounded like the car had open headers

i took the car to a muffer shop and had them put a cross pipe in (now all you hear in side the car is turbo spooling)

i will try and find some street footage and dyno pulls for you

Thanks guys! From what it sounds like the cars are louder than stock, if anything the turbo takes out some of the "tinnyness" of your typinal n/a stang, am I right? These cars sound deeper toned but still sound like a stang.

The turbo quiets things down some. With a Dynomax Ultra-Flo, my car has a nice deep tone, and is fairly quiet until WOT. It's only loud then because my wastegate is vented to atmosphere (which will be changed ASAP) I'm looking through some of my vids trying to find something to give you a good representation of how it sounds. But, I normally get paired against full blown race cars, so you can't really hear mine.

Here's one...

This one may be the best I can find. Solo pass in qualifying for a 7.50 index class last year...

i had greg at speedys run my wastegate back into my exhaust (best thing that i ever did to the car besides the turbo) sounds like a semi spooling now

nice time with the car (i have only been able to hit 7.70) with junk tires
