code 1443.....again

A little over 2 months ago, I got a check engine light and it was 1443 (eveporative emissions control) Today the check engine light came on it was good ol 1443 again. THe code was cleared. My question is this. After it is cleared, would the code pop up again right away or does it take time? Im thinking something wasnt reading properly possibly because the weather (sticking?) or would it come on again after driving around a while?

yeah, I don't have any hissing either. I think something went bad? In my service manual it says to check for crimped/blocked hoses... I wonder if I can use a voltmeter to check if its actually working.

I don't think it'll effect performance... but you probably won't pass smog. I get tired of the check eng. light
