Dynomax super turbo

Looking at buying a dynomax catback for my 92 lx. The reason
I am looking at this one is because of the 2.5" polished tail pipe.
Does anyone know how they sound. I am looking for a quiet
exhaust system.

People complain they're too quiet, but I don't think so. But they are one of the quieter ones out there.

Here's how the system sounds on an LX with tailpipes from outside the car, with an offroad H-pipe and 1-5/8 shorty headers. Mic's were mounted on the bumper above the tailpipes.

1. Don't use the U-clamps. Pony up the cash for band clamps. You need 4 band clamps.
2. If you do use the U-clamps make sure it is where you wanted and soen't leak before you tighten it down!!!!
3. It does not come with muffler hangers so if you don't have them you must buy them.

I had the cat back on my LX about 3 years ago. I remember when I test drove the car, I thought it sounded pretty good. But, I think the mufflers were getting old at the time.

i had the super turbos on my 88 with shorty headers and a stock catted h pipe and they were way to quiet for my taste.on the other hand it was the nicest fitting exhaust i had ever put on my car.my magnaflow is the best sounding in my opionion but the worst fitting and most expensive.

My first set lasted me 14 years and 130,000 miles, and I only changed them because they were starting to show signs they might start coming apart.

And I typed in complete words the entire time.

I ran Super Turbos years ago.
They flow well and are not loud.

Loud exhaust systems are BS and attract police.

I personally never liked loud exhaust systems because they get on my nerves after a short while.Young guys seem to like them, but I bet as they get older they don`t like them.

I'm laughing because it is true.

I like quiet and fast cars. Besides my wife and neighbors like a quiet Mustang and keeping her happy about the Mustang is an important consideration. Normally I would add that a quiet car doesn't attract as much police attention but since I bought a bright orange Mustang I don't think it matters.

I will add that everythime I hear a Harley go by my hose, or a really loud fart can car, and get annoyed I am reminded that is how most people feel about loud Mustangs.
