140+ nice. it was hard to see the rpm drop on the bottle from the tach cause of the sun. it didnt sound like it fell out of the rpm band. my car 60' 1.49 on the motor and went a 1.26 on the 100's. granted mine it alot lighter but you should pick up more in the 60' than you are. i have to shift my 91 quick. it has 26's , 4.10's and a 3.35 1st gear now. id just try to work wit what you have for now. i may take some work but im sure you can get 9's out of the combo you have now.

you have any vids of the outside of the car? id like to see the how the rear suspension acts. do you have enough rise in the front? i think your car should 60' in the mid 1.30's

yea..I have 5" of raise up front. went through all of this last year with a few people when I couldnt get better than a 1.52 no matter what I did.

all I really have thats good from last year is my 10.01 pass. the car was spinning left and right. I didnt get the converter and suspension worked out until september and went up a bunch by myself so only in car vids

IS your car as light as these cars?

I was contemplating a turbo 400 in my cobra, but i would never even consider a c-4 because the weight would kill it.

But im pretty heavy 3820.

A stock c4 first gear will get you there if you have the power and right converter.

World Cup Finals at MIR last year...

3310
3.55
700+
1.31
8.87

I would give Frank Lupo/Dynamic Converters a call.

You shouldnt have a problem seeing low 1.4's off the spray, high 1.3's with it @ 3350lbs.

Ken is right but i think if i wanted better reliability and was considering going faster down the road id opt for the turbo 400. Prob still be faster than or as fast as the setup your running now. (depends on who you opt to build your convertor)

But for all out go fast with your combo, the c-4 will def be faster. and your very close to dynamic so you wouldnt be eating shipping fees like we do down here.

im thinking 3.55s would work best with the stock c-4 first gear and your setup. (might not be perfect for no-nitrous but i bet youd be right on with nitrous)

thats kinda the plan. keep the 4.10s (if they make it to the traps) or 3.90s for the first part of the year..then swap to 3.73s or 3.55s and hit it with a 150-175 shot.
