Thumbs up Looking for Engine builders in Nashville TN

I have decided to go local to find an engine builder rather than build it myself or go crate. Does anyone know of a good engine builder that does good work who will stand behind their product in the Nashville area?

I am looking to build a near stock 302/306 with forged internals to handle 6-10lbs of boost. Simple and sweet as I dont drive the car but every so often but want to keep it streetable by all means.

Thanks

Engine builder

Daryl White from RPM (Revolutionary Performance & Machine) here in Mt. Juliet (15 min east of Nashville) is supposed to be really great. I know he competed in the National engine building competition severel years and has done well. I have gone to him a few times for advice and has always helped me. His number is (615) 754-5512. His web site is www.revolutionaryperformance.com
good luck

he is good, but you need to get on tennespeed.net and talk to FORDRASER(marcus). he lives in Clarkesville, and knows his stuff. He will be doing my mini tubs and intake/ headf porting for me next year when i get realigned with my finances.
here is his contact info, just tell him what you want to do, he does have a full time gig, but does this stuff on the side, and just got done with a nice low 6 second motor car(1/8th).
tell him Matt that got the sumped tank and transmission from him recommended him, and just let him make his recommendations. You will not be disappointed. You should go look at his port work! Makes most of the big guys' stuff look like kindergarten work, and very reasonable. Good luck!
fordraser@charter.net or call 931-217-0179

I wouldn't let them(DELK) change my plugs with the reputation they have!
Trust me, Marcus and his brother know their stuff. It never hurts to make some new freinds as well, espcially ones as knowledgeable about mustang racing as them.

Delk

They had my S/C car for a month and couldn't fix the tune. I finally just went and got it. The good news is that they didn't charge me a dime. They said that if they couldn't fix it, they didn't earn any money.

Soooo, thumbs up for honesty and integrity. Thumbs ? for not figuring it out.

Stay away from them.
Way too many blown engines & botched installs/builds.
