2)gt40p header question?

3)Gt40P LT headers

4)E7TE Ported or GT40 OR GT40P

5)Which heads to run: GT40 Irons Complete or GT40P bare??

6)What's required to make GTPs work on a 91 shortblock with HO cam?

7)GT40 ? OR GT40P ?

8)gt40 heads have emission ports?

9)Ported GT40 intake or ported stock lower with p heads?

Exclamation My GT40P Heads I built then sold for $1k

Since this is a GT 40-p thread I just thought Id share my build, at least there are some good photos in here...

This is the ad I made on my site to sell the (incomplete) heads
http://www.thatmetalbox.com/AUTOMOTIVE/GT40P

These were photos I took of the finished up heads, the buyer had me finish them up for him, I sent these pictures to him also I wanted them for my self and finally put them together in a web site today, so I though Id share them

yeah they will. I have them on mine right now with no problems. I'm using wires with 90* plug boots though.

I will say from personal experience that if you are going to pay a porter do the work, GT40 heads are a COMPLETE and total waste of money. By the time you pay to get the portwork done, install new valves/springs/seals etc... you'll have just as much into them as a nice used set (or NIB sometimes) of aluminums that will make more power, are lighter and have a lot more room to grow especially the Twedges that can get taken out to make huge power on 351 based strokers. Actually, even if you don't pay and DIY, the savings isn't all that great.

I paid $700 shipped for a very nice set of Performer RPMs with under 2,000 miles on them. Even if you could get a set of new bare castings and put decent parts into them I doubt you'd do much better $$$ wise when all is said and done, even with just a valvejob.
