OK well my 95 3.8 was bought for 1500 with new shocks, struts, transmission mount, rims, tires, radiator, alternator, powersteering pump, and mint interior and a few rough spots on the paint, then driven for 2yrs untill the head gaskets finally blew. Then I brought it to my shop and since then have fully rebuilt the 3.8 with new timing gear set, oilpump, bearings, rings, gaskets, seals, fully rebult heads, then I gasket matched and painted it silver, with black valve covers. I think it looks great. I have ordered new motor mounts and plan to drop the motor in on friday. And would like to know what I should do to the aode transmission other then fluid filter and seals?

If you plan on selling the car, then why do more work to the tranny than you stated? You won't see any of the money you put into it when you sell the car.

a GTP? thats ok...it's got the potential at least...saw several run 13.5's or better at the local track...
IMO, buying a six cylinder camaro or mustang (other than as a roller for a V8 project) is about as worthless as shooting yourself in the hand same way with auto versions of said cars...with the sole exception being for consistency and/or power handling with regards to drag racing...

Yeah, but some people buy vettes not only because of their performance, but because they think they look good. We've been over that already and I don't want to have to fess up to snakecharmer again. I need to stay in his good graces.
