Ran a new best last night

New personal best for my coupe last night. Think a friend got it on video I'll post a link once it's hosted.

On a 150 shot
1.308 60'
6.16 @ 110.4 to the 1/8
9.75 @ 134.9 in the 1/4

Convertor was slipping a good bit past the 1/8th...which is why the mph in the 1/4 is a bit low.

Car went a 6.14 to the 1/8 the pass before..but hickuped on the top end..went a 9.80 at 133.

Definately get the convertor straight and it will only go faster. Makes me wonder what a 100 shot would do to my 347 .

I'd figure if your convertor can take it....you would pickup at least .5

Yes..they have. Didn't pickup to much n/a...maybe a tenth. But on the spray they really shine. It ran a 9.92 at 136 on a 175 shot last year with the 185's. With the 215's it ran a 9.98 at 132 on a 100 shot...and then the 9.75 at 135 on a 150 last night. I figure it's picked up ~70-75 hp on the spray with the new 215 heads.

With a 6.14 1/8 mile, I would think you'd go mid to high 9.60s once you get the converter where you want it.

Nice times BTW!!!

Ya...I just got it tamed down that night. Just tighten up the front struts about 25%. It was standing up pretty good...carrying them to ~50' out...but not as high as your car does.

How many clicks ya got in your fronts. I think mine right now is at 4. It is pointing at the 5 o clock position.. I put 2 more in it after almost landing on the gaurd rail Friday night.

I run a older set of AVO adj. drag struts...4 1/4 turns from full tight to full loose....I went from 3 turns out from tight...to 2 1/2. Before it was doing wheelies about like this one with the struts set looser.

I will see how it handles this weekend at the NMRA race. If need be I will put a couple more clicks in it. It went 1.39 but that was in the lane I didnt have problems with. Track prep should be awsome this weekend so should be able to see if I can tame it down with the struts.
