i have a 86 gt vert that i put eibach sport line springs on and it sits at least 1.5 inches to low on the drivers front. i went back checked that the pig tails in the rear were pointed towards the drivers side and that the front springs were set in the a arm cup before the first hole like it said to in other posts. i took out all the rubber bushings on all the coil springs and put the upper and lower on the drivers front but it still sits 1.5 inches to low. what am i missing? the reason i changed springs was that the car leaned to the driver side with the factory spring...300 pound guy had it before me and i thought that the springs had worn out. bad springs, a arm bushings wore out?????? there has to be a reason.
passenger rear spring improperly installed or not fully seated in the spring pockets. bent pass rear shock. Torque box damage on pass rear side. suspension component bind.
Or, flat drivers side front tire, LOL, just kidding.

i have had the rear springs out 3 times and they are in correct and fully seated. the front struts and rear shocks are old but not bent. the car looks like crap but the under carriage is straight and no cracks. lol even the floor board under the driver is solid with no cracks. i read many posts and it makes me some what happy im not the only one with this issue. what really upsets me is my 03 gt does the same thing with eibach drag launch springs. so with the 86 i may just put factory springs in and cut so much off the driver spring to get it to sit level.i also may need a frame machine....
well....i called the only body shop in my town with a frame machine and he went on about how i didnt install the springs right, struts or shocks are bad, or THERE ARE BUSHINGS that go bad that sit on the springs. i told him i know all this but it still leans towards the drivers front bad. i told him i will drop it off so he can check it out and put it on the machine to check it.(HE DIDNT BELIEVE ANYTHING WAS WRONG).so i get there today to drop it off and he walks out and his mouth hit the ground! all he can say was...HOW BAD DOES IT LEAN TO THE DRIVER SIDE?!?!? i told him there is about a 2 inch difference. lol he told me the frame was tweaked and will let me know in a few days how much to fix it. so when i know more i will update as soon as i can.
man i hate this car...thinking of taking it to the scrap yard. well the body shop said the frame was great and nothing was out of whack. so i took the lower a arms,struts,rotors,springs,etc...off the whole front end of the car and nothing and i mean nothing is bent, broke,or wore out. so any more ideas??? i would really like to keep the car since i only have like 500.00 in it. i leveled the car on jacks and measured from k member to the ground, front frame to the ground and all i could find was a quarter inch off on the drivers side.
Is the swaybar hanging up on the passenger control arm? Are you tightening the A-arm bolts when they're positioned at ride height? You have to understand, although this is a relatively extreme case, these cars just tend to lean. There's a bazillion-page thread on how to fis the lean, and I'm not sure anybody came up with THE conclusive solution. Except to say #### it, and just get some coilovers.
