Anyone want to split an order with me? I got a half order the first time around, may as well make it complete. If Jeffo can confirm that the new batch will be the exact same shade as the original batch, I'm down for two - one left and one right.

Yes, center caps included as well as a plastic tool to take them out without scratching the rim.

The plastic tool broke the second time I tried to use it, instant replay for the next two tools I tried. So I keep a small flat blade screwdriver in the glovebox with a dulled tip. Best way to remove the cap is to tap the screw driver into the slot toward the center of the wheel, so the wedge part pops the cap loose. You do put minor scratches in the wheel, but they are under the cap so they are hidden.

Yeah. I tried one one mine and it did not work. I tapped it hard with my hammer and it went flying off. I already messed one up like an idiot. I put the cap on the rim with the wheel on the rear axle with no lugnuts. I used a hammer and screwdriver to tap the center area so not to screw up the rim. Screwed that one up. Where can you get another one?

If you messed up a cap, I'm pretty sure Jeffo or someone at Wheel Replicas can sell you a new one. For a time, LMR had them in stock as well, they may still sell them. Original caps fit too.

To the guys that have problems with the tool, use a screwdriver(like a few people mentioned), but have an old t-shirt(or rag) and fold it over the blade and pop it off that way to prevent scratching. That's what my buddy did with his center caps on his original wheels.

For those of you having problems getting the caps off, try THESE. I use those to get my caps off and they work perfectly.

I purchased a set the first time, and will be doing so again once it is closer to the minimum amount of people required.

I am sure we are not the only two waiting for that.

PM'ed you back Jay.

Alexandros,

There is one, and maybe two members of the 1993 Cobra forum that are not members here, who have completed the form and sent Jeffo the deposit. There may be others who aren't members of the Corral, so they cannot post here to update the list. You may want to email Jeffo and see how many deposits he has so the list can be updated to reflect the actual number, and when that number goes up, we will probably see a few more members coming on board when they see it getting closer.

I am assuming chrome due to the fact that right after the first batch it was put down as chrome.

The factory will not do 48 left and rights in mixed finishes as the quantity is not high enough.
