Anyone want to split an order with me? I got a half order the first time around, may as well make it complete. If Jeffo can confirm that the new batch will be the exact same shade as the original batch, I'm down for two - one left and one right.

The plastic tool broke the second time I tried to use it, instant replay for the next two tools I tried. So I keep a small flat blade screwdriver in the glovebox with a dulled tip. Best way to remove the cap is to tap the screw driver into the slot toward the center of the wheel, so the wedge part pops the cap loose. You do put minor scratches in the wheel, but they are under the cap so they are hidden.

Yeah. I tried one one mine and it did not work. I tapped it hard with my hammer and it went flying off. I already messed one up like an idiot. I put the cap on the rim with the wheel on the rear axle with no lugnuts. I used a hammer and screwdriver to tap the center area so not to screw up the rim. Screwed that one up. Where can you get another one?
If you messed up a cap, I'm pretty sure Jeffo or someone at Wheel Replicas can sell you a new one. For a time, LMR had them in stock as well, they may still sell them. Original caps fit too.

To the guys that have problems with the tool, use a screwdriver(like a few people mentioned), but have an old t-shirt(or rag) and fold it over the blade and pop it off that way to prevent scratching. That's what my buddy did with his center caps on his original wheels.
