I am thinking of picking up an 89 daily driver. Car is apparently in decent shape; all original except it does have some aftermarket sun roof installed...probably when it was new. I was curious what those have done when needing parts or when running into problems? I assume if I need a seal or 'hinge' or something of the sort I am going to be welding in a factory roof or something crazy, right?

Or replacing the whole sunroof with a new unit. That would be a lot easier than the whole roof.

I know...meant that as a joke but I totally hope it does not come to me having to replace the sunroof either. However, that would be a way cool T-top install opportunity!
I need to check the other guys thread now! Talk about work...

if it is an '89 almond hatch, i believe the sunroof is factory. mine has one too.
