what rear shocks to use with 400 rate standard rear torque arm springs?
what rear shocks will handle these rear springs?they are the stiffer h&r torque arm springs,standard style.850 rate front springs.what are some good,reliable rear shocks that will work good with these on street car that sees some open track?

Koni dampers have a huge range of rebound damping. You'll need a good bit of rebound to damp the spring rate. You also have the ability to adjust the settings as required or desired.
No other shock that's readily available and cost effective anyway has the range of damping the Koni's have. And fwiw, if you follow this link (which has been posted here before) you can see how Koni's compare to various other shocks from Tokico, Bilstein and KYB. The shocks shown are singles for a 94-04 car, but the valving is essentially the same for a Fox, and the graphs give you an idea of how Koni does their valving.

Why dont you just use what GR or MM recomend for their ta with the rest of your cars set-up?
My GR ta watts sla set up uses Koni 30 series medium valved rears with a 250lb coilover, front is "street" valved for the sla with a 750 coilover. I opted for the medium rears vs the softer option due to a chance of wheel hop, whereas the firm versions would be for an all out drag car.
