All motor pump gas 408, AOD, 3.55's, on radials. Drove a hour one way, ran 10.6's and drove home. Changed nothing, but the tire pressure.

Very nice car. I have done that myself. It used to be almost unheard of but these days with all the SBF stuff it can be done, and is more than you would think.

Nice!

I'd like to make it down to 131 sometime. Any idea how it compares to Milan?

Milan is a #### hole. Water smells have to lock you stuff up in fear of someone taking it. Dirty. The starting line is about as flat as a dirt road in March.

131 is none of those.

Nice wildstreet!! You a brave man IMO. My car is streetable and would not even consider driving that far with out my trailor. Im guessing after something breaks and you have to get it towed might change things lol. Nice runs btw! Very fast street car!

Wow...that much better eh? How strict are they on tech (I still don't have a fire jacket per the newer FI requirements)?

Nice job.

At the end of the day it is always fun to drive past people on your way out of the track as they are loading up their cars on the trailers.

Preparation is the key. I see cars every time I am at the track that have no business being there. Parts falling off them won't start the list goes on and on.

Got to be consetive with the tune and chassis.

Planning on driving mine up tomorrow. Putting the engine in the car tonight.

If it breaks, well I will just call home for someone to bring the truck and trailer. Either way, I built it with the goal to drive it there run 10.50's and drive home. I am almost there.

2 years ago it was on Tim's trailer getting towed home after popping the headgasket. But for the most part, it has made it too the track and back without a trailer.

I was hoping you would get your 10.50 but at least it went some 60's so your almost there. Car leaves real nice, what were your 60's?

Vortecd, you run 9.11@ 150 mpg with a 306? Wow that freaking amazing! What kind of time and money do you have in that car? Any info on your setup?

RPM at the finish is about 5850 locked up, un-locked is about 6350-6400 With the lock up I probably need to try the 3.73's since I can goto 6800 without a problem.

60' was 1.46 There is still more left. We are still tweaking the suspension. Once I know it is hooking good and consistent I will start putting some more power back in it on the leave. A/F was FAT 11.8 and the timing was 28 So, we will start playing with the fuel and timing to see what it likes at the track.

I have had the car 15 years. It has had many combos in it so it would be hard to say exact money with this setup. Nothing real trick or high dollar in the engine. The current setup has been in since 2000 with some tweeks over the years. I ran a few NMRA races running Renegade back then. My combo is on Anderson's website under customer cars. I just think everything works well together.

BB&T built the shortblock. I have spent many hours wrenching on it over the years. I have tore almost everything out of the car at least once. Popped a headgasket once at Anderson's on the dyno (bad race gas). Changed the gasket in the parking lot so I could drive it home 300 miles away so I guess I work on it.
