My favorite review I ever read of this subwoofer:
The guy gave it like 3 our of 5 stars. He said it was amazing, and sounded awesome. He said he lowered the rating because it hit so hard that it detached his retina and he had to go to the hospital.

Yeah, I reckon it would take a lot more than 2 batteries to power that. Probably more like a bank of 4 with another bank of capacitors. Its neat but yet kind of useless for the average person.

That episode was replayed last night on Spike. It was a bread truck. They used 2 Jackhammers in the back along with 20+ other speakers and a bunch of amplifiers inside. And of course there was a big ass flat screen TV. Looked like a car audio store in there. ![]() ![]() EDIT: they stuffed one in a car before this episode. I don't remember what it was though.

I'm running 2 decent 10" subs, and they hit plenty hard enough.

I never understood the SPL competitions.. most of the cars were nothing more than shells that they packed audio into.. and only ran long enough to get the vehicle from a show and onto a trailer. Most had concrete filling in voids in the body and reinforced windshields
I'd rather had a good sounding sound system then one that is just for "show"
