Car's coming along nicely (yellow blaze exterior pics):

Another month, another set of pictures.

Mods to the exterior: fog delete, blackout panel, CS front and rear valences, Roush springs (stock dampers, the whole thing's getting changed soon to steeda sports and koni yellows). Next incoming mod is the Boss 302 base splitter (not the LS splitter).

That looks good. I asked Tousley about the Base Boss splitter, and they didn't find a part number. Do you have one for it already?

I didn't think I would like that color when I saw it on the swath, but I was wrong...I do like it.

Awesome man, thank you. I assume that's just the splitter that attaches to the CS fascia and not a whole new part from the price of the thing.

Fantastic. You just made my day with that part number find. And with that website, that's a good price on that stuff, especially with free shipping.

Thanks a bunch man.

One other question for you now...any plans to tint the windows on that thing? If so, just a word of caution..it will probably come out darker than you expect. I put 35% on the front, and 20% everywhere else on mine, just like I have on every car I've ever had, and I should have gone lighter with this one. Even with the glass roof, it looks REALLY dark, I'll probably get pulled over before long and have to re-do it.

I love looking at those pictures though as I'm already ordering stuff to set mine up almost exactly the same, except I'm going to keep the stock in-grill fog lights. Anyway, thanks again for the assist.

I was going to do the same percents, but now I'm thinking maybe 35% across the board. It gets really, really hot out here however, so I'm really looking for heat reduction first, and looks second.

Also, that site is awesome for OEM parts. They have the boss 302 manifold for $279, I had the GT/CS front bumper, fogs, AND rear bumper for $400 shipped.

Your looks absolutely stunning! I love that color, too. It appears that you have lower fog lights. Do those use the existing wiring from the stock fogs? Nice job!

The splitter is fit to the CS/Boss bumper only, and the fog kit included 2 extensions to relocate the fogs to the lower location.

yeah, it included detailed instructions, the fogs (which were already installed in the valence, but I advise to properly aim them before buttoning everything up), and the harness extensions.

I think the CS front without the fogs is about half the price.

So maybe something like this boss302r hockey stripe (minus the boss and R designation, I'm having someone look into it and reaching out to ford and multimatic about where the livery comes from).

Also, couple teasers from what I just had done tonight:

Where did the fog lights come from..

I noticed on fords site that if you get the billet grille the fog lights get deleted from the grille. Do they get moved down to the bumper or are those aftermarket ones?

Fog lights came with the gt/cs front bumper extension.

I'm not sure on the ford options, I just covered my stock ones and installed the cs pair

Nice car! (I might be biased tho, Mike's New Toy: 2011 Mustang GT )

Who's blackout panel did you use? What did you think about the fit and finish?

I'm definitely thinking hard about the CS chin spoiler although I'll probably make mine a 6 eyed monster as I kinda like the factory fogs (yeah I'm weird that way).

Not sure about the neighborhood, since everything is Benz, Audi, or BMW in either silver, black or white. I traded my silver audi for this, lol.

The blackout panel is a magnetic one, I had a couple issues with it (bought from ebay), but the seller is sending a new one today, great service and the product is not bad at all, not sure why mine "shrunk"

VERY NICE car..I love how each of us does little (and some big) things to make our cars so unique...unlike the "usual" "common" GM Camaros and Vettes. Can you say "SALEEN FRONT GRILLE"? :nice:
