'79 F100 2wd with a 428/C6
SOLD.
Selling my 1979 F100 project truck, 2wd long bed. Fresh paint, not a show job but a 5-10 footer. Lots of new body parts including new fenders, bed sides, front and rear bumpers, and grille. It is painted a custom Orange Pearl, really pops in the sunlight as you can see in the pics. New 18" chrome wheels. Has a fresh rebuilt, 0 mile 428 Police Interceptor motor and C6 trans, 9" rear with 3.50 gears. C6ME casting block (1966), C7AE-A heads (1967). Block was bored .060 over, heads were completely gone through, has new Comp Cams roller rockers and new rocker shafts, pushrods, mild Comp Cam (260H grind, .484 lift), port matched Edelbrock intake, fresh rebuilt Edelbrock 750 carb, Hooker headers, new fuel tank and lines. Motor should make 400+ hp and a ton of torque. I took the truck on trade but its really not my thing. There are a lot of little things that need buttoned up to have it ready for the road. Has a late model Ford bench seat that needs brackets modified to bolt it in, door panel and interior trim installed, needs an accessory bracket to mount the power steering pump, needs exhaust finished correctly and a few other things. Should be a real head turner when its done and out on the road. Have some extra parts that will go with the truck as well. It does start and move under its own power. SOLD. PM or post if interested.
