Finished engine removal from Lincoln donor. Have everything I think I will need. I have searched forum after forum and read a lot of articles and have heard that a 5.0 HO speed density system can be installed and made to run with minimal 5 wire or so connection, though I cant find enough to explain to my poor brain which 5 wires, and to what they need be connected to.
92 5.0 HO from lincoln mark vii
AOD transmission
going to install into a 92 Jeep Wrangler.
I would appreciate it. Have found a bunch of sites that show a lot of information.
I removed the donor engine and computer. Removed the computer wiring harness, the engine harness was on the engine still. The last harness in the vehicle goes from a large grommet on the passenger firewall and connects to the computer harness, the engine harness, lights, charging circuit, starting circuit, antilock circuit, air-bag suspension, and back through the firewall by the brake master cylinder.
This is no ordinary harness...is like super-harness :crying:
I don't understand your question but i did this swap into my Jeep and its pretty easy. My dad and i just cut out the wires we knew we wouldn't need, like a/c and junk. I have a box full of most of the harness. http://www.zandm.com is a company that does these swaps only in Jeeps.
I've installed an electric fan, an MSD dist, MSD coil, e303 cam, upper/lower intake spacer, 3g Alt., MSD 6AL, Hooker headers, i had a custom Hpipe made and i am running flowmaster mufflers
