turned ls into ford windsor

I bought the distributor conversion, it uses sbf distributor. So I used the TFI dist.,stock mustang wiring, and a9l computer with chip. The LS motor pretty much a ford windsor so it works.

here's a video https://youtu.be/1dDNSus16iU

That is totally awesome! I must ask why you did it that way though instead of using a gm harness and PCM? Just curious. Are you tuning with a PMS or something?

Built Ford tough with all kinds of stuff!

The ls is not "pretty much a windsor" lmao.
BDASPNY likes this.

Just another slow mustang with a single turbo....

Anymore videos of the car? How does it run? Any problems with that setup? What system did you use to tune it since you kept the stock fox ecm? looks like something id be interested in. Can you post more info?

Very impressive! As a Tweecer user this opens up the possibilities of an LS swap. Thanks for sharing!

Could you share how you wired the distributor? Does number 1 on the dizzy go to "Ford" number 1 (passenger front corner)?
Thanks

So a HEI conversion makes a SBF a SBC? Not at all. Why convert to dizzy? Why not use the MSD box and keep the CNP setup? Using the A9L is a step back, a big step. Like putting an A9L and dizzy on a Coyote. Microsquirt will run LS with bank to bank fuel and waste spark CNP for less than $400.
Not knocking the EECIV at all, darned good ecm's but technology has made great strides in the last 20+ years.
