Good morning all.
Bob I probably can't attend due to little league committments but I might be able to make the cruise later. If I can't make it then remind everyone to be safe and not to act too crazy on the street, we don't need to lose another friend. |

Hey guys...
I wanted to stop by and say hello to everyone. Also to tell everyone I am sorry to hear about Ben. I learned about it as I was getting on the plane to head back to Indy on Monday. I hope everyone is doing well at this time. |

Just got the 383 home for the S10. Fresh off the dyno it made 588hp@7000 and 494tq@5600. This is with the new smaller cam .630/.630 vs. the old .670/.640 cam we had for the Altered.

Well, if the rain holds off, dad and I are going to the Indians game tonight. By the looks of it, it's going to be stupid humid.
Larry - Still working on your computer. Man, that thing was dirty/dusty. Gotta get some new thermal paste. I had to pull the heatsink off the CPU cause it was so dirty. Just wanted to make sure that you got my PM. If you didn't I can send it again.

Something I just thought of, if Ben's family needs money to cover expenses and some people had a garage sale or put a bunch of stuff up for sale with the money going to the family I have a bunch of stuff I cound donate..... not all of it is worth a lot but still...
Im sure everything is taken care of but just thought I would mention it. |

Bob, should be over around 2 or so on Saturday.
Just noticed there is a section on the Corral main page about Ben. Nice numbers John! 3 time in the last week I have seen a tan Tahoe with some custom rims with cars pulled over. Looks like the State Police have a new toy. Saw it on 465 and I69

Either that thing gets around or they've got one down here too. My wife saw it a while back.

Guys I have a strange problem with my daughters 150k mile 1995 bmw. The brake lights weren't working at all but back-up lights did and the turn signals in the back did. I found one burnt out brake light bulb (there are 3 bulbs on each side) and replaced it but that didn't do anything. I checked the fuses - fine. So I replaced the brake light switch that's connected to the brake peddle. Now one of the 6 bulbs is working but the rest are not. Only 1 is working on the left side and so I took that bulb and switched it with the right side bulb and that one still only came on (on the left) so I know its not a bulb issue. Anyone have any ideas on what could be going on other than its a crappy german car with far too many miles?????

]My fiancé Kristin and I had been thinking about picking up a new pooch for a few weeks now. We scowered craigslist, indystar, and the hamilton/marion oucnty shelters but stumbled upon a Boston Terrier (our favorites!) at the Uncle Bills in Fishers. We deliberated two days on the pros/cons of such a dog but this little guy just fit our personalities perfectly, and we knew he would get along great with our 2 year old boston. He was a bit more than we wanted to spend, but with the bond we made, price wasn't an issue.... Anyway, he is a white/brown/black/brown/brindle boston with the most playful personalitity imabinablel - yet you pick him up and he relaxes instantly.
We named him Ranger for Ben (the other option was Purdy or Towlie but those are both taken )![]() "Wtf is this camera thing?" ![]() Smooshy faced love! ![]() One monster and one mini monster LOL... ![]() Family Portrait

Sorry to hear that Frank. Was he racing or was it just some kind of accident? When I wasn't as wise back in high school and college I had a few speed contests through there.
Morning all. |

I almost trashed one of my old cars and probably would have been hurting in a bad way or have been killed one night being stupid just north of the walls...... made it just past and spun out through the only open in the center median for a few miles or so and crossed into the south bound lanes and ended up in a parking lot...... I have no idea how the car and I drove away from that one....... I was doing close to 100....... rear end got loose in the first bend in the road not far past sisters and got it slowed down to like 55 before it broke loose........ That ended my "spirited driving" days.
Should have learned my lesson a year or so before when going south just south of the walls I thought my Camaro could handle like the Vette and Viper I was with...... got some nasty curb rash on the right side wheels for that stupid moment. Speed at some point catches up to ya sadly. Personally I don't think I will ever cruise 31 again..... Im lucky to be alive these day's..... I pushed my luck enough to cover me and a few others for a lifetime. Sorry to hear about your loss though Frank. Last edited by Commander Snake; 07-23-2010 at 10:56 AM. |
