My Blue Coupe

Well, after being out of the race world for 7 years i bought this one off my brother. He robbed the engine from it and that's where I took over ownership. Here is a pic of what it looked like when i brought her home.

I was given a 96 Explorer shortblock so I took it! I added AFR 165 heads and a fox oil pan courtesy of fellow Corral members and ordered a new TFS Stage 3 cam for it. Summit was my provider for the cam and the Ford Racing harmonic balancer that i later made the timing marks visable and shot the balancer with a few coats of clear.

I picked up a Track Heat intake on Bowlinggreenmustangs.com for a decent price and had it media blasted and am now in the process of painting it black. Will have pics of that next week.

This dual friction piece from Tennessee Clutch matched with a McLeod pressure plate wish assure that the ponies make it to the rear wheels.

Rear wheels are 15x8 billet specialties and fronts will be 15x4's.

Nice looking notchback. Are those factory painted mirrors or aftermarket? Either way, looks nice and clean.
