Just about there....91LX 406 stroker
Just thought I'd see what you guys think. I bought this car turn key with a 351Cleveland in October and ended up wiping out the dist gear and cam. Long story short, things got a little crazy and I picked up a really nice 406 Windsor stroker, PA C4 with 4400 stall, aeromotive fuel system, etc...I guess this wasn't a complete build by me but pretty much everything has been redone now. Couldn't have done it without the help of some really good friends.

Thanks guys..Yeah actually I have Spent some time in the kirkey seats and I have to say they're relatively comfortable. My only complaint about them is that they very low. I started looking into some different brackets or maybe I'd feel more comfortable if I swapped to a tilt column.

i'm almost there. Mt 3 inch x-pipe and new Borla xr1's were put on yesterday and it came out sick, and it sounds pretty nasty. Still have some odds and ends to iron out. Just want to adjust the valves and check the rockers, check the timing again, and check the jetting on the car. Its breaking up pretty bad all over the place and you could plainly see how rich it is...I think it will be an easy fix but we have to go over a few things. Should be all set this weekend..

Wow. Never was a fan of hatchbacks untill now. Those rims look killer on the car. Love how clean the engine bay looks.

Thanks, I said the same thing! I was looking for a notch when I bought this car last year but I fell in love with this car and couldn't pass it up. Actually the wheels will be up for sale since I'm goin to be switching to more of a drag setup but don't worry I promise it'll look just as good!

thank you very much..its amazing how it never ends though. I finally got the car where I wanted it, had it out for 1 full day only to hear a terrible valvetrain noise when I was right around the block from my house. Pulled the valve cover off to find a few very loose rockers. Then I drained the oil to find metal shavings all over the place. I pulled there intake to take a look at the lifters and a few of them are stuck in the damn block! So now everything is coming apart again and I'm back to square one...This hobby sucks!!
LOl, and yes they are 275/60's |

oh damn!!!! sorry to hear about that!
it still amazes me how well the 275/60 tire fills up the wheel well. that bad boy looks very good. I love how none of the holes are filled in the bay and the panels behind the firewall holes. dont get me wrong, i love a shaved bay but this one catches my attention just as much! |

Yeah the 275/60 look perfect, it took me awhile to decide on the rim size. Most of the time you see the 15x10 which looks killer to but sometimes it seems like it sticks out a little to me..I was able to find some guys that went with a 9" rim with 6" BS and loved it. Basically it tucks it in a 1/2" more.
Its funny you mentioned the engine comp to, because now that the motor has to come out anyway I was considering smoothing eveything..Its a tough call because it does look clean since its already been repainted. |
