1987 Bright Regetta Blue Coupe
Well I figured I'd start my own thread since I'm getting the car ready for paint. I've got an 87 Bright Regatta Blue 4 cyl. coupe I'm converting to a v8. In the process I'm going to restore or replace as much as I can throughout the car. I've owned many foxes in the past and I would like this to be my best attempt at building a clean street/strip car leaning more towards street. Plans are to build a mild motor for it but first i want to concentrate on getting the body as clean as possible. The car has all it's original vin tags in place and nearly no rust except for some minor surface rust in the rear wheel well.
Here's the car when I bought it: ![]() And here's the 93 Coupe I bought for a donor. The front drivers side took a nasty hit and twisted the car up pretty bad:
