So I Crashed

I just went through a project on my car.I took some pictures so I may as well share them. I kinda like looking at crap like this so maybe others are like me. All in all I think this all took place in around 2-3 weeks.

Let me know what you think.

Ouch

Frame is certainly bent.

I had the fram pulled back and got to work

Cut out rad support and left apron...

Then I put it back

Painted it

Wiring going back in.

Why go stock right?

Mounting... everything else

Test fitting the lights.

Now painting the bumper

Its back again.

Gaps are good too no shims or anything.

I'm going to paint the whole car next year, but racing season is coming so paint can wait. I had fenders and a hood that were the same color so i just put it together like that. and sorry about the bad cell phone pictures.

Nice Job! Great when you can do stuff like that yourself. Paint looks like a decent match too.

I Can try I drive the thing all over so that's no big deal to me.

Paint isn't bad but i'm going to do the whole car next fall i'm not 100% happy with it.like i said this was like 2 3 weeks from bang to done.

It was a bit of a pain but with a welder and time anything can happen. Hardest part is measuring to make sure it's all square and straightening all the little tabs and crap so everything goes back in correctly.

Oh and about 20 drill bits and 56823 spot welds

But once it's done though look at what you have done. I will be down there with a buddy of mine, maybe see you there.

What a feat, but at least you were able to get the car back in shape on your own a bill like that will be way too much at any shop. How long did it take you from start to finish? Did you work on it everyday?

Not everyday, but like 2-3 weeks nights after work.

Probably like a 8000-9000 dollar hit total bill... a little over $1000 I think? I have to find more wrecked pictures it was bad the one I have hardly does justice.

I do everything by myself built my own trans, engine, rears and now this so there really isn't anything that I didn't do on the car. I am proud of that. I got a knack... haha
