10 second goal build







freshly painted tremec tko


lakewood bell housing also with some fresh paint. centerforce clutch installed with a billet flywheel. im waiting on the extended clutch fork and this thing will be ready to be dropped in. im putting the motor and tranny in together. i know a lot of people choose not to do it this way but its personal preference and i find it easier



current state of the car, its been sitting in the garage since 05 with no drivetrain in it

Nice just not a fan of those intake gaskets would rather see the steel laminate ones used just a matter of time before they leak on that purty engine

havent had a problem with them yet on my other motors so ill stick with them for now

Are you going with the KOOKS long tubes or the shorties? And what cam did you install? Looks great btw...

im going with the long tubes. i have the shorties installed for the installation of it cause im using a heavy duty tow rope rapped underneath them since im putting the motor and trans in together. i dont want to use that carb plate with all that extra weight. the cam is a comp solid roller XR286

havent updated here in a while but i finally got the motor in and running. took me a while to get everything settled in cause of the tranny not mounting up to the cross member so i decided to modify it to fit. here are some pics with a short video of the first start up

this is the modification i made to the cross member

motor is still not 100% done but im just happy its in there and all i have to worry about is a few little things

no, i wish tho. i was way to busy working. my plans for this winter is to have it dynoed, install a roll cage and have it painted. then ill be ready for track and hopefully enjoy the car
