That Engine sounded real mean too, I think they said it uses the Ford Racing Boss Block.

Cool. Still doesn't change the fact it will not fit under the stock hood, killing the sleeper point of the build.

Garage
Sleeper MN12 Tbird? Yeah could've been a really cool mod build. But for a windsor project, I don't understand why they wouldn't just use a fox Tbird instead. Guy on a forum I go do is building an 88 Tbird with a turbo'd EFI 5.0....a much cooler project imo. But I suppose I may be biased

I dont see the problem with a carbed windsor setup. I think Bruce's car makes good power.

393 Thunderbird Under Construction

He's a member here, 393bird. I rode in the car before the Ysi and it made my nutts tingle. I cant imagine how it runs now.

Nice ride. It also shows, there isn't anyway to get it under a stock hood.

Your life must be awesome if you consider a 427 to be a "junky pushrod".

They put the engine in the car and had to hack up the oil pan to clear the K member. Didn't show the car with the hood on after.

Fast forwarded thru to Musclecars and saw what they had to do for a hood. Rick Bacon fitted a fiberglass cowl hood. It would have been OK if it didn't have the 2 stupid looking inlets on it.

That hood is pretty ugly.

I don't think Rick Bacon was all that impressed with that crappy hood either, notice the lack of product endorsement when he had to re-work the ugly POS to fit the car.

I also think they are going to be replacing one of the hosts this next season since they just introduced the new "tech" on this project. My feeling is it's the old guy. I can't remember their names, the only ones I like are Rick and Tommy from Musclecars.
