It is awful what has happened there and the issue with the nuke plants is very concerning.

You would think that with the nuke plant being that close to the ocean, they would have millions of redundancies in place to prevent what is now happening.

That and the reactor is almost 40 yrs old, and not "rated" for such a large quake.

Maybe we all are going to kill ourselves in 2012.

Hopefully I will at least have my HTC Thunderbolt by then....

It's going to take a looooooong time to clean that mess up. A few giant waves have set Japan back for decades. If such a thing ever happens here in Florida, I'll never come back.
