Want to remove center console

I need to remove it. I know there are screws under the rubber things that pad the arm rest. Any other screws/clips/bolts/etc hiding from me? Can I do it without removing the parking brake handle (looks like it, but just checking)?

Any tips appriciated.

Thanks.

From what I can remember there are 2 screws in front, and 2 inside the console. You do not need to remove the parking break handle to remove it. You must pull the brake handle the most vertical you can. I mean, really pull it hard up. Should be easy from there.

Thanks guys. Got the instructions from Roush97, and it was just fine. Only one harness to disconnect on mine, right under the shifter. Everything else was simple.

Can someone please tell me how...I have to replace my plastic parking brake to a leather cobra one. Can I replace it without removing the center console?

if you do need the directions here is the pm i sent dane:
the screws under the little rubber things hold in the compartment...when you take those little screws out you can pop out that compartment...when you pop that out there are two bolts right in there that need taken out...now there are only two more screws left...take out that peice that goes around you shifter...i dont know if you have an auto or manual but i imagine they are probably the same...when you take that peice out there are two bolts that connect it to the middle of the dash...you wont be able to miss them...they are the only bolts/screws holding it down...now pull up on the ebrake as far as it will go...now pull up and forward and it will come up...now if you have the fog light switch and whatever else you will have some electrical harness to disconnect along with the lighter...good luck
